Latest CSS Libraries, Frameworks and Tools (2016 Edition)

In 10 October 1994, Håkon Wium Lie first introduced CSS. At the time, he was working with Tim Berners-Lee at CERN. Several other style sheet languages for the web were proposed around the same time, and discussions on public mailing lists and inside World Wide Web Consortium resulted in the first W3C CSS Recommendation being released in 1996.

Twenty years later, and we now have version 3. The style sheet language has gone through numerous changes and has gained a lot of new features but that has also made it more complex.

CSS for Developers

On the developer’s part, they want something that makes their development faster day by day. That is why, there are a good number of resources available that makes life a lot easier. Style sheet libraries, frameworks and tools are made by devs to help out other devs. Here is a compilation of these resources from 2016 which we have found to be very useful.
